This is the most obvious way to use the sample. You will start by copying the main format. Put in all of the Roman numerals and letters. Get a good idea of what each section of the paper was looking for. What was Roman numeral one?
Now that you have an idea of what each section is for, start filling it in with your information. If you have more supporting evidence than the example, add sections to accommodate these. Now you should have an almost complete outline.
Add additional information so that each section has the same amount of supporting evidence. If the first topic has three then they all should have three.
You can add transitional phrases right to your outline. This will help you make logical transitions from one idea to the next. When you add the transitions when writing the paper, you sometimes miss the main points that you should be bridging.
Now you should turn all of the ideas into complete sentences if you haven’t done so already. This will make it easier when you start to write because you will just have to fill in the blanks.
